GETTY"S MUSEUM

Happy Tuesday!
It's been quite a long time since I have updated my blog. Finals, summer plans, and procrastination really took a toll on my blogging. Sorry to all my readers!!

Now that everything is settled, and summer school has started, I can spend more time updating my blog with OOTD and other post of clothes, life, and hobbies. I just wanted to make a quick post about my trip to the Getty's Museum. I went with my boyfriend and a friend today to this place, since it was a highly recommended place to visit by my school. After constantly making rain checks with my friend Ed, we made a firm decision to go today.
Here is the West Pavilion section of the Getty's Museum. This part mainly consists of photographs by two Japanese photographers depicting daily activities of Japanese life or surrealism. The rest of the museum contained European paintings and sculptures from the Renaissance to the mid-1700s. I would say I am not a huge fan of  European art and culture, so walking around and looking at multiple paintings of deity and religious figures did not inspire me.
Bed for the royal families
But the most entertaining part of the trip was exhibits of how the French royal family lived. Large ornate beds with Gold bed frames, and intricate baroque designs on mantle pieces really awed me. I could never imagine living like a royal centuries ago. Every piece of furniture seems too "fancy" to use, if understand what I mean.

After strolling through the North, East, South, and West Pavilions, we decided to rest outside in the Central Garden area. In the middle of the garden, there was a fountain with a maze floating on top. It was beautiful and relaxing to look at after walking through countless corridors of paintings.

Tank top- Nordstrom, Jeans- Acne, Crossbody bag- Forever 21, hoodie- American Apparel

For my outfit, I decided to keep it very casual. I wore flip flops with a loose, peach-colored tank top, and skinny jeans. I brought a grey hoodie in case it got chilly.

Twinsies!!
Have a great week! Stay chic and optimist.
